Arrowtown browntop

Arrowtown is an elite browntop, being significantly finer and denser than Egmont, Manor and Sefton browntop. Arrowtown recovers rapidly from renovation and is an excellent choice for golf greens. Arrowtown has good year-round quality and is best suited to closer mown, high maintenance situations such as greens, tees and fairways.

Macdonald creeping bentgrass

Macdonald creeping bentgrass is a high quality turfgrass for greens and was developed for high resistance to many diseases including Dollar Spot, Anthracnose, Brown Patch and Pink Snow mould.

Penn A-1 creeping bentgrass displays a very dark green colour along with a fine leaf texture. It has outstanding heat and cold tolerances, very good winter colour and quick spring green up. Penn A-1 has good disease resistance and forms a dense sward. It is suited to golf course putting surfaces but can also be used on tees and fairways.

Penn A-4 creeping bentgrass

Penn A-4 creeping bentgrass displays a dark green colour along with a fine leaf texture and outstanding heat and cold tolerance. Penn A-4 has high disease resistance and forms a very dense sward due to its aggressive growth habit. It is suited to golf course putting greens as it forms a smooth grainless surface.

Penncross creeping bentgrass

Penncross is an aggressive growing bentgrass with wide adaptability, but it is relatively coarse compared to more modern cultivars for closely mowed greens. It has tight, upright growth characteristics and a fine leaf texture. It is best suited for use on golf courses (fairways, tees and greens) and winter overseeding of bermudagrass greens.

Tillinghast Creeping Bentgrass

Tillinghast creeping bentgrass shows superior resistance to Dollar Spot (caused by Clarireedia jacksonii), Brown Patch (caused by Rhizoctonia solani) and Pink Snow Mould (Microdochium nivale). In addition, it shows excellent resistance to Anthracnose (Colletotrichum cereale) and Pythium Root Rot.
