With breeding, evaluation and screening sites located throughout Australasia, we are able to source the most suitable genetic material to include in our DuraTurf seed blend range.

DuraTurf® Colonial Blend
DuraTurf® Colonial Blend is widely regarded as the ultimate selection for a low maintenance, low input grass for an outstanding fine putting surface.

DuraTurf® Howzat®
DuraTurf® Howzat® seed blend consists of two elite fine leaved dark green cultivars ideally suited to the rigours associated with pitch preparation such as constant rolling and low mowing. DuraTurf Howzat has the unique ability to recover well after play.

DuraTurf® Stadia
DuraTurf® Stadia seed blend consists of three elite perennial ryegrass cultivars, ideal for use in a wide variety of elite sports turf situations. DuraTurf Stadia can be used in golf courses, sportsfields, cricket blocks and outfields or any fine turf ryegrass situation where an elite appearance is required.

Racecourse Seed Blends
PGG Wrightson Turf have racetrack ryegrass seed blends which provide very fast establishment to repair divots, even turf cover at higher racecourse mowing height, drought and insect tolerance and an attractive, even, aesthetic surface.
DuraTurf® Pharlap®
DuraTurf® Pharlap® is an extraordinary racetrack seed blend, following in the great thoroughbred’s namesake. This blend has the winning formula for all racetrack situations. Consisting of rapid establishing high wearing, clean cutting specialist ryegrasses. DuraTurf Pharlap incorporates the best cultivars available to produce a superior racetrack surface.

Landscaping & Amenity Turf Blends
Landscape grass blends include attractive fine textured fescues and browntops to coarser tall fescues and ryegrasses; PGG Wrightson Turf have blends which incorporate some or all of these grass types. These range from fast establishing grasses with winter activity to warm season drought tolerant seeded options for summer persistence.
DuraTurf® Backyard Fescue
DuraTurf® Backyard Fescue is a mix of 70% chewings and creeping red fine fescues blended with 30% fine leaf turf ryegrass cultivars. This mix is ideally suited for shady and dry soils, where the fine fescues will dominate. DuraTurf Backyard Fescue is a great all round amenity turf mix which contains no browntop.

DuraTurf® Backyard Rye
DuraTurf® Backyard Rye is a blend of 70% fine leaf turf ryegrass cultivars, blended with 30% chewings and creeping red fine fescues. The higher ryegrass component allows for rapid establishment and excellent wear tolerance. The fine fescues provide excellent shade and drought tolerance.

DuraTurf® Estate
DuraTurf® Estate seed blend produces the ultimate in turfgrass quality. DuraTurf Estate is a dark green, dense, clean cutting turfgrass suited to landscape and ornamental lawn environments. DuraTurf Estate seed blend incorporates two elite turf type tall fescue cultivars.
