Profile HPM Wood is a mulch that contains Thermally Refined® wood fibres which have greater yield, interlock, loft, and coverage, compared to shorter atmospherically refined fibres.

This mulch is beneficial as wood mulch with tackifiers has up to a 75% effectiveness rate and a longevity of up to 3 months. This mulch has superior coverage compared to other wood competitors due to its matrix effect. It also reduces soil surface evaporation to hold moisture in and encourage high germination rates.

This mulch has 100% virgin recycled wood fibres, and when combined with the tackifier, it is 97% virgin wood fibres with 3% tackifiers.

These wood fibres provide better coverage compared to competitive wood mulch and with greater loft also provides greater air pore space and water-holding capacity to promote germination and faster vegetation establishment.

Tackifiers have valuable attributes as they can help defend from weather elements by ensuring stability and adhesion to the soil.

This characteristic is paramount for areas where soil is rough graded or has extreme weather conditions that mean ensuring bond of seeds to the soil is imperative.
